Commercial/Personal Lines Marketing Manager

Wellesley, MA 

Currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial/Personal Lines Marketing Manager to place business with ISNE carriers and to service existing book of commercial lines insurance business.

Requirements for position are as follows:

  • An active Property and Casualty (P&C) license.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the insurance industry with at least one year of experience with an independent agency.
  • Candidate should have working knowledge of a paperless system (prefer Applied or AMS System).
  • Must have a solid understanding of commercial lines insurance, terms and coverages.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle heavy workload with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort with deadlines.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to detail and perform well under pressure.
  • Successful problem solver.
  • Ability to interact with agency Producers and CSRs in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Professional designations a plus (CIC, CISR, CPCU, ACSR, etc.)

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate placement of coverage for our member agents through our various company partners.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate submission of all applications from submitting agents to insurance carriers who have a direct appointment with ISNE.
  • Follow up submissions to obtain proposals or declinations and communicate results to submitting agents.
  • If so directed by the submitting agent, bind with requested changes and submit risk with application.
  • During the term of a policy, process any endorsements requested by the agency.
  • Meet and discuss any issues with Company Marketing Representatives and Underwriters.
  • Act as liaison between Company Partners and Agency Members.
  • Some travel required.
